Tuesday night was club night, with activities ranging from our Ladies Walking Group and C25K programme to our regular club runs.

We knew we had done well in the Beat the Street challenge in Bloxwich, but we were delighted to be surprised tonight with not just one prize, but two trophies and two vouchers!

A huge thank you to Richard Forrester from Walsall Council, who kindly presented the awards.

Thank you to everyone who took part and contributed to our success. Congratulations once again to all involved – it was a fantastic team effort!

Three generations, one unforgettable weekend in Cape Town 🇿🇦❤️
Our Chairman John had the privilege of taking part in the Cape Town 5km Peace Run alongside his son and grandson — three generations of the DARGAVEL clan together, making memories on the streets of one of the world’s most iconic cities. But the real headline belonged to Mo, our Welfare Officer, who crossed the line in her final marathon — and what a way to finish.
With Table Mountain standing proudly in the background, Mo completed a challenging course through the city bowl and foothills in a fitting finale to an incredible running journey. From Age Category wins and Good for Age Marathon places, to earning the Abbott World Marathon Majors Six Star Medal and representing England Masters across 10km, half marathon and marathon events — her achievements have been nothing short of inspirational.

Working side by side, we helped tidy up Rough Wood and showed just how strong our community is when we join forces. 💚
Events like this aren’t just about keeping our local area clean and beautiful—they’re about bringing people together, building friendships, and supporting our community.
